Would you like to partner with us to provide life-changing impact in the lives of those we serve in Kenya?

Make a Donation to Grain of Rice Project

Give a one time gift or become a monthly giver to support our outreach programs including GORP Kids after school program, which provides hot meals, academic tutoring, literacy initiatives, field trips, family outreach programs, a safe meeting place for kids, and compassionate teaching staff.   Donations also support the GORP football team ministry, small business training, and other empowerment opportunities.

Become a Child Sponsor

Sponsors pay $25/month, which provides school fees, books, and uniforms for a child in the GORP Kids Program.  You will receive correspondence from your child.

Children are required to pay fees at both the primary and secondary level to attend school. The costs are a huge burden on parents and often kids are sent home from school because they cannot pay. We believe all kids should have the opportunity to attend school and that education is one of the primary means for helping people rise out of poverty.

Contribute to our Administrative Costs

These costs cover the salary of our founder and full time U.S. director, Amy Ahiga, who travels between the U.S. and Kenya to oversee and develop the programs running in Kenya.
